I’m still squeezing this summer’s outfits into my feed even though it’s September and now autumn (meteorologically speaking…) — this was one of many stripe dresses I bought this summer. And when I say many, I mean MANY ?! • This one was from @mango in a blue and white stripe cotton and had a fabulous white lace panel across the shoulders (swipe left for a full length shot and the orange heels)! It’s clothes like this that I’ll miss wearing once we’re into cold weather territory… I’ve never been one to relish autumn and especially not winter(!), but as far as English summers go this was probably one of the best. So I’ll get as much wear as I can out of my summer wardrobe before I relinquish sandals and floaty dresses in favour of tights and boots and scarves. Here’s to an Indian summer! ??☀️?? I’m an orange and yellow-clad clever clogs (even if I say so myself). So clever, in fact, that I adapted this outfit for another day (in London) for totally different weather – yet the two outfits looked totally different. I would like to thank the Irish for the wondrous colour combination that is the Irish flag: orange, white and green is nothing short of O-M-G DELICIOUS. Though my formal thanks need to go to my pile of laundry for the actual inspiration for this outfit: clean, dry clothes brought in off the line and gently placed (er, dumped, rather) on the armchair. I looked down… emerald green trousers next to tangerine sweater next to white towels jumped out and declared, WEAR ME. • And if you want even more highbrow fashion like THAT, you know where to come, eh?!!!! ? • Disclosure: clothes all worn and provided by me.
